Looking to acquire some authentic vintage without breaking the bank? Look no further! This all original Model 164v is in tremendous condition for it’s age, sporting only minimal cosmetic wear to the finish and with very little fret wear.
The Colorama solid body was originally designed as a budget-friendly model to cater for the demand in the UK market for red electric guitars (courtesy of one Hank Marvin.) By 1963, the “Version 4” - as we see here in it’s full “belt & braces” 2 pickup tremolo form - fetched a Selmer catalogue list price of 32 guineas!
